Error fr2836 not reaching the extruder

My K1 Max was working fine until I bought the CFS , it was honestly the worst thing I could have purchased! I haven’t printed a single thing every since (3+ months ago).

Even after taking it to maintenance where I bought it and paying for maintenance, I still have not been able to use it because now I have the FR2836 Error where the filament reaches right before the extruder then it shows the error message.

I have checked the bottom area of the CFS and there are no blue lights turned on when there is no filament in so lets rule that out.

The CFS is normally pulling and pushing the filament without any issue, yet when it reaches 97% of its path to the extruder it just stops and gives me the error message. This happens no matter which location I put my filament in the CFS.

Who can help me not regret my choice of buying this printer.

2 ideas: if your filament isn’t getting to the extruder, the issue may be inside the extruder.
Or, it’s having a tough time pushing the filament.
If so: Lube.
If that doesn’t work, I would seriously check the power it’s getting.

Really hope that helps!

I had exactly the same problem on just one bay of the CFS and it turned out to be that the filament had a small nick in it. The CFS would feed the filament almost to the extruder and retract when that little nick reached the feed rollers. Cutting that section of the filament off solved the problem.
