Mine has done this a few times over the last few weeks, and today three times in a row. Really annoying and time wasting. Mine gets into the first 2-3 layers and then says System Error and suggests I restart. I have better things to do than waste my time.
4 times in a row. I tried downgrading the software but that said ‘failed’. No use of my printer.
I managed to get the firmware downgraded on the second attempt. I’m on the second print after that and both are OK.
One would think, in 2026, that the printer would say “89% chance your nozzle is failing, please replace it.” Or at least give detailed on-screen help about what exactly an error means.
Instead, we must research and interpret “xs2060” as being from many possible sources, and determine the root cause ourselves (usually through lengthy trial-and-error.) Many users don’t have the academic and scientific rigor (let alone patience) to follow-through such a research endeavor - they just want the thing to work and be easy to fix when it breaks!
The confusiing and not satisfying part is that going back to firmware V1.1.3.13 solves the issue without any nozzle changes or trouble shooting. Newer firmware V1.1.4.x seems to be not robust and a step backwards.
When televisions began to need a technician to operate them I lost some marbles. Aftermarket expenses are part of the whole thing. The errors on the screen and over the network were varied, but they stopped and the clicking too when I replaced the nozzle.
When these companies are linked by the same shareholders we can see what it’s about - sustainable selling… Buy from this manufacturer, now this one, now this one, just keep spending in our industry…
