Error xs2060 K2 Plus + CFS

K2 Plus with CFS: Printing PETG, latest firmware V1.1.4.8 stops with error XS2060 within first layer.

Going back to firmware V1.1.3.13 everything is fine.

Anybody else observed this behaviour within latest firmware? Seems to be a bug….

Happened multiple times.

Thanks in advance

Rico

Mine has done this a few times over the last few weeks, and today three times in a row. Really annoying and time wasting. Mine gets into the first 2-3 layers and then says System Error and suggests I restart. I have better things to do than waste my time.

4 times in a row. I tried downgrading the software but that said ‘failed’. No use of my printer.

I managed to get the firmware downgraded on the second attempt. I’m on the second print after that and both are OK.

I downgraded to 1.3 something but several prints later it is happening again consistently.

Going back to factory settings got another 10-15 prints but faults occurred again.

The extruder began failing and I made some progress with the nozzle, clearing deposited filament inside it.

I replaced the nozzle and am printing now with it without any issues, current version of firmware.

Hopefully resolved. Quite an easy task replacing the nozzle.

One would think, in 2026, that the printer would say “89% chance your nozzle is failing, please replace it.” Or at least give detailed on-screen help about what exactly an error means.

Instead, we must research and interpret “xs2060” as being from many possible sources, and determine the root cause ourselves (usually through lengthy trial-and-error.) Many users don’t have the academic and scientific rigor (let alone patience) to follow-through such a research endeavor - they just want the thing to work and be easy to fix when it breaks!

The confusiing and not satisfying part is that going back to firmware V1.1.3.13 solves the issue without any nozzle changes or trouble shooting. Newer firmware V1.1.4.x seems to be not robust and a step backwards.

When televisions began to need a technician to operate them I lost some marbles. Aftermarket expenses are part of the whole thing. The errors on the screen and over the network were varied, but they stopped and the clicking too when I replaced the nozzle.

Only briefly solved it, and maybe it is that the newer firmware has more sensitive tolerances/intolerances.

Hi all I am getting error XS2060 all the time. i have tried past prints that worked fine in the past. No idea what to do. Need help please.

I thought mine was solved, I’m on the third print today and it cancelled without any visible reason. 2nd layer and said “try restarting”

Any feedback from Creality? I am pretty sure they know about the error. Any new plans for firmware releases? Creality Support?!?

They said to go back to the default settings, that time is detailed above.

I got two prints done and the next one this morning failed, same problem XS2060. Just gone onto the 3rd layer now as I’m typing, next attempt.

I create embedded systems and when a problem occurs it should be found in detail. Not allocated to a generic fault code.

I think the hot end is expiring, mechanical issue. It’s less than a year old.

When these companies are linked by the same shareholders we can see what it’s about - sustainable selling… Buy from this manufacturer, now this one, now this one, just keep spending in our industry…
