ErrorCode E0500 Key 2514

Oh wow! You are my new hero! I messed with this issue ALL DAY!! LOL Recreated my files from scratch to make sure there weren’t any gcode export errors.

Turns out it was the apostrophe.

THANKS for FINDING this and SHARING this. it had me stumped for about four printing attempts on K1 Max and I couldnt contact Creality at all (not sure what’s going on there!). Anyway, NO MORE APOSTROPHES in GCODE File names…If I can just remember this for the rest of my printing life;-)

Well done, Jamison, and thanks for sharing.
I searched the Creality support and FAQs - you’d think they would have it there, but ‘No’.

Same here - thank you for saving me scads of time. A quick search this morning and I found this. My file had “o’clock” in it and the apostrophe was the issue.

I would like to add my thanks - this saved me a lot of time trying to work out what was wrong - removed the apostrophe and the print is on its way!

Thank you, exactly the problem I had.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for posting that, 8 hours I have been uninstalling reinstalling resetting reloading re slicing all for one apostrophe.

Thank you so much. This was my issue as well. So glad I found you and the solution now.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ONLY WITH SMALL ITEMS and the answer was the apostrophe!!! I CANT TELL YOU HOW MUCH IVE READ BUT HAVENT SEEN ANYONE ELSE MENTION APOSTROPHE SO THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!

yep, still there… thank god this was the first result in google.

No Commas or apostrophe heard. Checked this and it was the fix. Printed several files for 12 hours no issues. Made a new model and named the file “xxxxx’xx” - same error code, deleted file and saved again with same file name - same result. Deleted File re-exported without the ’ , printed perfectly no issues. Kinda crazy that an apostrophe can kill a code.
