I can find manual controls for the Hot Bed, Nozzle and Cavity/chamber but not for the exhaust fans.
Can they be controlled?
The reason I ask is that they do not seem to run the way they should.
They are running at full speed even when the chamber temperature is lower than the target.
Any ideas? Do I need to reset the printer to default settings after the latest update to have all settings work as expected?
Yes and no, they have different functions, one for the chamber temperature so that the set temperature is not exceeded and the other to maintain the temperature, I think that is the principle of the fans, this will probably be improved later or it will take a while for them to switch off but then become active again because the temperature is too high again.
So I would say that they work properly, but unfortunately they are not quiet either.
Fans seem to be controled via filament setting which is a bit wierd, although some setting are obvious for certain filaments, most for me are print specific
Yes, I have been able to change the filament setting to not vent out all hot air after an ASA print by setting it to 0% after the print is finished. That is a good feature to reduce the warping.
The problem is that sometimes when the chamber has not yet reached the target temperature, the exhaust fans kicks in, which feels counterintuitive.
Creality print has the on/off switches for three out of the four different fans.
Hopefully they will add the fourth one in an update.
