Experience - Error - when operating 42 K1Max machines from 04/2024

I have operated 42 K1-Max machines
and there are also many incidents - errors that make me laugh. Along with that are the points that I see as shortcomings, positive… But I will gradually list those errors (weak points). The errors that I find annoying, and gradually overcome, or more precisely, accept and improve. Can be divided into 2 areas: Hardware and Software: (I use Creality’s Hyper PLA wire)

A. Hardware:

  1. The wire is very often clogged. Only Based on the number of blockages, I divide it into:
    -30% first layer blockage.
    -40% second layer blockage
    -20% mid-blocking
    -10% partial blockage (silk plastic)

  2. 2 The wire extrusion gear is prone to broken gears - wear. This is a common cause of blockage (40%).

I have switched to using iron gears.

  1. The design of the duct is too close to the top cover. This leads to many Teflon tubes being worn out and hindering the speed. The wire cluster is not hung so it is easy to collide.

  2. The AI camera is not good. Sometimes the print is broken and the extrusion is indefinite and does not turn off.

  3. The connection jacks of many machines are very loose - causing the machine to suddenly report an error while it is running. The command must be canceled for repair.

6…update

B. Software:

  1. Software updates are increasingly difficult
  2. Designing to manage multiple machines via LAN, cannot sort and filter by machine order, print file, print time, name…
  3. There is no mode to continue printing a broken file halfway or how to load Gcode (previous Cr10S5 machine could)
  4. If there is a sudden power outage, it is still possible to continue printing, but 50% will be XY or Z deviation (separated into 2 parts)
  5. New updates (from 5…) do not show the name of the product being printed when clicking. It is very difficult for managers to view when printing many different files.
  6. If you use many machines, there is no way to view all camera screens or multiple camera screens at the same time. It is very difficult to manage. Imagine you have 40 machines, and to view, you have to go to each machine. (Why can’t you manage like a security camera system that displays 6-8 windows on 1 screen)
