Help a newbie,
2, K2’s w/cfs both print pla flawless. Switched to cr petg and both extruders jammed up.
I set both machines to 50% in the on screen settings. both just completed a 20hr. print.
I am new so be kind to me please. I need some guidance on where to start. Thank you.
I use a z-offset for petg 0,025. Have you tried that. Before the last firmware i used 0,035/0,045. Set the bed to 70c and give it 10 minutes to settle before starting the print.
When you know your offset for the fillament that works you can make a new printer profile and set the z-offset there. You can find it in the right corner of creality print.

I was running into the same issue. I changed the max flow rate to 15mm/s from the 18mm/s it is set to. I bumped the temp up to 250C and bed at 75C. I also adjusted the top layer and outer wall speed to 60mm/s and I am printing fine with CR-PETG.
@Martin_Prent’s z-offset fix works for me. I use custom PETG profiles copied from the default with the First layer height set to 0.24mm (regardless of the Layer height setting), however a larger offset might be worthwhile experimenting with.
