Hello all, I recently had a clog with some old black filament I used where it just got stuck in the middle region of the extruder motor. No issue there, I simply used some pliers to pull that old filament out. However, upon attempting to put the extruder motor back in, it won’t fit where it is meant to. I took apart the motor and the front part fits flush with the small metal part going into it, however whenever I added the back part of the motor back onto the front part of the motor and then tried putting it back into its designated slot, the small metal part sticking up on the base of the printer head won’t fit into the extruder motor. Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so, what could I do to fix this?
If you removed the extruder motor from the gearbox, make sure you didn’t put it back rotated 180 degrees. In this video you can see the correct orientation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI2l2LSkEME
