My printer was bought almost new, I haven’t made many prints (40 at most) and today I heard it start beeping loudly while making a print. When I looked at the screen, it said “extruder temperature is too low” error. My only solution was to turn it off from the back button, so I did that. I bought a printer for the first time and I don’t know the names of the parts inside, my printer is ender 3 v2 neo, I additionally printed 3 parts and installed them on my printer, 1. filament holder, 2. storage device, 3. screen button please help with this.
Check the thermistor is connected properly. The screw that retains the thermistor in the hotend, just lightly pinch tight not screwed down hard as that will damage the thermistor wires. Be prepared to replace the thermistor as they are easily broken. I always have a couple of spares for my Ender 5 plus (extra long cables and hard to find), normal thermistors are pretty cheap.
Mine gives the same error message (and halts the printing) after some prints, not even in a row. I think it has to do with a bug in the firmware.
The nozzle temperature doesn’t oscillate (maybe 1 degree, but sometimes it is a couple or more degrees and no problem), there are no air currents. I just turn the printer off and then on and print with no error message…until who knows when.
