My Falcon2* has recurring issue with the lens warning light showing red. It’s in a good shape, I have cleaned it thoroughly, several times, the whole module, the lens, changed the lens, and so on, and then hard reset it. When I start cutting afterwards, it will stop again. The curious thing is, that in the last two tries, it stopped at exactly the same spot, beeping and flashing red. But as it made its way one cm further in the first try, I would exclude a software or lightburn problem.
Has anybody got a suggestion what to try next?
*it is a 22W model, but apparently only 2 of the 4 diodes are still working, that’s another topic, but this probably leaves us with half of the power.
PS.: If you’re thinking about suggesting to contact creality support… I have done so with several other issues with this machine (see *…), and I have NEVER gotten any answer, whatever mail adress or other I try. So this is probably the last creality I’ll ever buy, but yet I need it in working order…
Hi,
I’m having the exact same problem with my 40W Falcon 2 Pro, clean lens even though it’s not dirty, reset laser module, it starts to cut some cardboard for about 2 seconds then stops with the Lens alarm,
I also replaced the lens with the spare one supplied with the laser and it still does it.
I’ve contacted Creality support yesterday with no answer so far, if I don’t get an answer within the next couple of weeks I will contact my credit card and start proceedings to get a refund.
My laser doesn’t even get a lot of use and is quite clean anyway
so as of the last reset, holding the button down on the top of the unit I have not had any further issues. It almost seems as though the “reset” does not always reset the system?.. I turned the machine off and disconnected power to it, then plugged it back in, started it up and immediately hit the reset and then the start button on the front of the machine. seems to have fixed it?..
I contacted UK Creality support and have had a response from them fairly quickly, they requested the video to show what was happening so I sent them one, see link. Lets see what happens next. 20250102_141224.mp4
