I just received my Falcon 5w laser engraver, seeing as how I’ve never had a laser engraver in my house, I thought I would start small. I have designed parts for large, industrial lasers, so I’m familiar with how they work. The reason I purchased this one, is I was listening to the Black Friday broadcasts the week of Thanksgiving and someone asked if there was Linux supported software for the Falcon laser engravers and the hosts said yes there was. Now that I have the machine, I see that Creality doesn’t have a Linux version. Lightburn stopped developing their Linux version, and LaserGRBL is a Windows only product. What other options are there for software? As it stands right now, I am going to have to return the laser for lack of support.
