Hi, new to these forums, but I thought I’d post on here regarding the issues I’m having with the Falcon T1, seeing as it’s a fairly new machine and I couldn’t find any posts regarding it on here. I’ve had the UV version for about a week now, and while it has given fairly solid results with the flat field lens, I have had nothing but issues with the inner engraving field lens. I have not been able to use this lens at all yet, as it is advised to calibrate all new field lenses before use, and this is where the problem manifests itself. The calibration of the laser goes as it should, and the auto focus calibration, but when it comes to calibrating the field lens, it always fails at the second stage, where it burns another test pattern onto the laser photo paper! Instead of the pattern it is supposed to burn onto the paper, it does a tiny version of it that burns straight through the paper and onto the calibration plate (permanently etching into the plate!), then throws up error 07022201 which offers no real help.
I’ve tried this calibration process 3 times now ( after restarting the machine and removing/replacing the field lens and checking everything is as it should be!) but the problem persists and I do not want to continue for fear of permanently damaging the aluminium base plate on the frame (used for inner engraving). I have contacted Creality support who have opened a ticket (which I cannot locate!) but no-one yet has been in contact.
I was wondering if anyone else had run into this issue?
i’ll upload some of the photo’s I took during this process, which may explain the problem a bit better.
