Fan Kit for S1 (pro)

Hello,

I bought the Fan Kit and am trying to install it on an S1 pro with the F4 chip mainboard.

In the manual there is a different mainboard with terminals to screw in the cables.
But mine has no terminals where the cables could go in…

I have crimp equipment and probably fitting connectors to put the cables somewhere else… But where?

Ok, I found the mainboard diagram:

But there is non connector for this…
Of course I can get 24v from the power supply - but I do not like that solution…

That’s because its on the ribbon, the fan connects to the daughter board on the x rail (Sprite Hot End)

I am talking about the 3 fan - fan kit.

I think you mean the 5040 blower fan upgrade.

Either way the fan on the hot end is connected to the daughter board and then to the ribbon. So any fan upgrade is either going to need to run to a patched supply or the board on the back of the sprite or ribbon connector.

Still my kit does not work via the breakout board but should be fitted to mainboard as explained in the manual.

Anyway I will fit it to the power supply directly.
