I’ve been exoeriencing lately my extruder getting blocked by melted filament in between gears of extruder. Here are the photos…
That is called heat rising, and normally happen to me when I print with the door closed, opening the door whil printing that type of material prevent it.
Thank you for your reply but I use creality Hi which doesn’t have doors. Do you know what settings to use to prevent this from happening?
Ok I also have a Creality Hi but, I have it on a fabric enclosure.
Try to not use more than 200 °C on the nozzle temp. Also, look if the fan of the hotend (The smal frontal one) is working fine and do not have dust.
that fan is there to avoid the heat of the nozzle to «get up» to extruder nor nozzle start.
That doesn’t look like a heat rise issue to me, it looks like the filament is being compressed. When this issue happens is the printer still extruding at all??
Then to cover more bases, what temp are you printing at, and with what material??
