I am trying to add either a pause or filament command in creality print 5 so i can do some multi color prints. I see it adds to the code but it is not stopping or pausing. I tried orca and the same is happening. I have a S1 Pro with the Nebula Smart Kit. Do i need to modify the code manually? any input would be grateful.
Did you try reslicing the model for a second time after you added the layer pause for the filament change? I know I made that mistake the first couple times.

On our K1 Max this is what is added to the code in Creality Print 5.xx and it works:
I’ve read where this code doesn’t work on all printers…
It just stops at that point . Extruder doesn’t move out of the way, when you try to resume it gives an error. Then I have to cut it off and cancel the job. Only way ive been able to successfully do a filament swap is sit there waiting and manually hit the pause button. Guess ill use the old software till this gets resolved.
Hmmm. I don’t know anything about the Nebula Smart kit but I wonder if it is interfering somehow…
