K2 + 1 x CFS unit. Printing ok last job. Filament now will not withdraw from the extruder. real jumps from the CFS unit as it tries to rewind. As filament is under tension cannot disconnect tubes from the quick fit couplings.
proposed to cut the tube end filament above the extruder then clear the blockage from the head and replace the tube. Any better suggestions?
I had this happen a couple of days ago on my K2Plus. I used a long nosed plier to push the filament cutter in and cut the filament, not easy to cut, Had to push hard. Then I released the filament on top of the hot end/extruder by pushing the lever and the black ring at the same time while pulling up on the tube. Then on the front screen under the filament section, tell it to unload the filament. You will then probably have to take the extruder assembly out and take it apart to remove the stuck filament.
