Filament not sticking to bed

hi still needing advice I’ve cleaned the bed, paper level then bed levelling, used glue stick(never worked)then painter’s tape(never worked) should I just go back to beginning and start again with the basics and check everything again and again nozzle temp 200 bed 60-70 are these temps ok

Have you adjusted the z offset…? That might help your filament stick to the build plate…?

Can you share a photo of how the filament is coming out? Have you tried a higher temperature? Make sure the bed is properly leveled.

I have adjusted the z offset but as I said I will have to start from the very beginning take my time recheck everything thanks for advice and help

the filament is coming out fine I’ve upped the nozzle temp to 220 and bed temp up to 70 but still nothing works

Bed a 70C for PLA? That plastic will stay soft and be all over the place. I don’t go over 55C. I stick with honing in that z-offset. Can we see your bed mesh? (sounds rude)

The z-offset really makes a big difference. I went through this recently; even though the printer was calibrating before printing, it wasn’t saving the settings.

After I managed to calibrate it properly, the print base went from this:

To this:

Takes practice but once you master it it is a lightbulb moment.

Should there not be a Sticky on the opening page that shows the first photo and then says … follow these instructions …

This seems to be the “Most” asked question.

Especially now that we have new people with new printers wondering why it doesn’t seem to work but is quite easily fixable with practice and patience.

Hello @Optimus

What do you think ?

Working through this now. Thanks.

thanks for the advice and suggestions

I did follow the instructions but got it wrong these things do happen

what maybe is an option , what i do.
so you leveled the bed etc. look said before.
then run the bed leveling test print.
will its printing, i set the z offset instant, be carefull.
That works fine for me, when set correctly store the settings.

Mostly al work fine, but i use the 3dlac stuff.
