Hello everyone, I have a ender 3 V3 SE with the filament runout sensor and controlled by a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint. If I print from the SD card the sensor works without any problem, however, when I print from the Octoprint the sensor is ignored. I think this is because the SE is not sending any printer notifications to the Octoprint . Is there any way I can enable printer notifications?
The Ender firmware does not have host controls enabled, so the sensor does not work through Octoprint. You have to run a custom firmware.
