Does anyone know the settings for “fast series” PLA on a Ender 3 S1 Pro. I have always been using the “hyper series”, but now with the “fast series” I get horrible prints.
I’m using Prusa slicer.
Thanks in advance,
Herman

These are the limits for the sprite extruder. I was able to print up to 200,mm/s on my old Ender 3 S1 pro after fitting a sonic pad running klipper.
quote from google -
The Creality Sprite Pro Extruder has a maximum rated print speed of \(\le \) 300 mm/s****. However, reaching this speed depends entirely on the rest of your 3D printer and settings. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The critical details for maximizing your speed include:
Hardware & Frame: The Sprite Pro’s direct-drive motor is lightweight (~288g), but pushing past 150-200 mm/s typically requires a rigid frame, dual Z-axis leadscrews, and high-quality linear rails to prevent vibrations at high accelerations.
Firmware & Mainboard: To process commands fast enough for 300 mm/s printing, you generally need Klipper firmware (e.g., via a Creality Sonic Pad) and high accelerations (3,000–8,000 mm/s\({}^{2}\)).
Volumetric Flow Rate Limit: The Sprite Pro’s hotend features an extended heater block capable of reaching 300°C. Its maximum volumetric flow rate is around 11 to 15 mm³/s. To maintain ultra-fast speeds (like 250+ mm/s), you must adjust your layer height and line width to avoid exceeding this flow rate, or the nozzle will fail to melt the filament fast enough, causing under-extrusion
