Filament stops feeding but print continues (ender 3 V2 neo)

Hi all.

Recently I have had replace my hotend assembly completely. I bought one of these kits that these evérything in it.

When it arrived with no instructions I had to put it together, I could use the old one as a guide as some of the screw heads were stripped, so I put it together as best as I could.

Also to get the new wires sorted out I had to undo the extruder.

Finally I took the opportunity to purchase a run out sensor from creality for my ender V2 neo. I’m a little surprised that the filament does not run in a straight line from the run out sensor to the extruder.

Now it is all back together. I printed a benchy with any issues. Now I’m trying to print an octopus, and the filament stops feeds after a about two hours. But the rest of the print continues.

I do not really know where the problem is. Could it be the:

The run out sensor
The extruder not being setup right
The hotend assembly being put together not right.

Any suggestions are great fully received. Any videosaybe I have not found

UPDATE: I have found that it was the Creality run out sensor that was stopped the filament from feeding.

Creality states that the sensor is combatible with the V2 Neo, but it seems the firmware is not controlling the sensor correct or at all.

Any suggestions???
