I have the Ender 5 S-1, and it has been working great for months. Suddenly, the filament will not come out of the nozzle. And I have replaced the nozzle with the same results. I am at a loss as to what the problem could be. I can’t even push it through manually.
When I changed the nozzle, I could pass the filament through without a nozzle when it was cooled off. The nozzle does get hot when I preheat it, but then I can’t even push it through.
Do you have any ideas on what to try next?
If you can’t push it through by hand (and the hotend is heated properly) then the clog is somewhere above. You could try to push it through with one of the plunger needles but if it does not work you have to disassemble the toolhead and remove the clog.
When I removed the nozzle, I could pass the cleaning rod right through. So, it is evident above the nozzle. I put a brand-new nozzle on, but I still can’t push it through.
Is it possible I need to replace the heating part? According to the Sonic pad, it is at temperature.
try running a PID autotune see if that helps
I have no idea what that is.
