after flashing the printer via usb, the printer began to output an image of mountains, and in the process of solving this problem, it turned out that a firmware file with the ingenic extension was needed for its final solution. does anyone have this firmware for the k1se version
Hi @Kabanchik
Trust you’re well!
The dreaded mountains
I don’t personally have the K1 SE, but I’ve seen this on Reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/crealityk1/s/DuEpICGSzI
It appears that some may have managed to revive their K1 SE’s by flashing the base ingenic Image from GitHub (link in bottom reply on Reddit), but then there are also others that say that the base image doesn’t solve the issue.
If it doesn’t work I’d recommend getting in touch with Creality directly. They should have a working image for the SE.
Let us know if you manage to solve this. If you do it’ll be helpful for others to know what you did here.
All the Best
Alawhie
Good afternoon. Unfortunately, all these topics on Reddit are not useful because there is simply no necessary firmware version for a complete flashing. I’ve written to tech support, but I’m not sure if they can help me with this problem at all. Since I was constantly being sent to resources that had ordinary firmware.
The K1 SE uses Ingenic-based firmware. You can download the official firmware from the Creality support page for the Creality K1 SE 3D Printer. If you specifically need the .ingenic file, contact Creality support or check their GitHub/firmware repository.
