First layer issues or bed leveling issue

I have an ender 3 max neo and it’s bee fine for the past 3 years. The other night my wife touched it while I was at work after I did a print and it started to auto level. With the print still on the bed it lowered and hit the print and continued drive down. She switched it off and got the print off the bed and then left it.

It all looked OK I checked the gantry and it’s level the x axis. I manually leveled the bed and then auto leveled. I’ve printed a bed level test and the results are, on the right side it’s too high and sticking to the bed, in the middle it’s OK and on the left it’s to close.

It all looks OK till it auto levels then it’s off again. Any advice on what I should look at/adjust next because im close to just buying a new one and upgrade.

Hi @user9339916369 :slightly_smiling_face:. It sounds like your auto‑leveling mesh got thrown off after the crash. Try manually leveling the bed carefully with a piece of paper at all corners, then set your Z‑offset so the nozzle is at the right height. Make sure the probe moves freely and isn’t bent, then run auto‑level again. Often the combination of a correct manual level, proper Z‑offset, and a clean probe fixes this kind of inconsistent first layer issue.

Let us know if the above works or not. If not we can continue to troubleshoot until we find a solution.
