Frayed print model

Hello everyone,

first of all: I am new to 3D printing. At home, I use a Creality Ender 3 V3 SE.

My print model looks frayed every time. In addition, the print nozzle rubs against the model during printing. The 3D model itself comes from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4729762

I sliced it with Creality Print V6.2.0.2828 and left all the default settings as they were.

I have no idea what settings I need to adjust. Do you have any tips I should pay attention to?

Best regards,
Daniel

I know these are the basics and you probably already thought of it, but…

Kind of looks like the printer is moving around a lot. Is it on a solid table? Are all 4 feet making solid contact with the table? Have you run the “input shaping” calibration recently (especially if the printer has been moved around).

What kind of filament is that?

Hya check this out Print Quality Guide | Simplify3D Software

From the pics could be overextrusion, that fits in with the nozzle rubbing, when you overextrude each layer is slightly thicker than the printer expects, eventually nozzle hits the print, other things to try : add a little z hop for that, also dry filament, but overextrusion is probably the go, as gozman said, what filament is it?

Hello gozmon, I am using Creality Hyper PLA filament here. The settings in CrealityPrint are set to 0.12 mm Fine.

Hello Andrewson, thank you very much for the link to the Print Quality Troubleshooting Guide. I wasn’t familiar with that site. I use Creality Hyper PLA filament here.

Good luck, i can highly recommend esun pla plus

Yea, that’s a fine filament. I’m with @Andrewson Screams of over extruding.
