Gcode Export Failed

Hello, on certain models I try to slice I keep getting "gcode export to (insert my pc filepath here) failed. Cannot open the file for writing.

It happens randomly and only on certain models that I download the .stl file from. Any ideas?

Take a look in here:
C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\Creality\Creative3D\5.0\tmpProject
Assuming Windows 11

nothing yet, still get it randomly

no such tmpProject, it just has a random hash code as a folder name under the gcode file and its empty

i figured out when i get that error i need to reset pc. it must be some kind of temp file error

Hello.

I’ve looked for the solution of the same problem you had.

I had a same problem with some specific model which I couldn’t find particular difference….

So, I exported it as a “stp” file, not “stl” file, and the problem solved.

Still, don’t know the reason why that g code couldn’t be generated, but I hope that alternative was helpful to you.
