Hatchbox PLA with Ender 3 V3 KE

Hello,

I used Hatchbox PLA with my old Ender 3 V2 with good success. However, it does not seem to work too well with V3 KE. I set my nozzle temp to 200 (worked fine on the old Ender 3 V2) and print bed at 50. The first few layers print okay, but then sometime during the print it just knocks the parts off. I did not have to used brims or rafts previously.

I did a test with the Hyper PLA that came with the printer with the same parts, but used the Hyper PLA preset in the Creality Print slicer and it works well. Is anyone else using Hatchbox? I’m wondering if it is just not compatible wit high speed printing. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Troy

The z-offset might be a little high and needs adjusting, that first level squish is so important. Autolevel is close but often needs a little extra 0.1mm to get it right. I don’t autocalibrate every print as it undoes the z-offset I have just set. Also try standard PLA setting rather than hyper to see if that helps too. Brims isn’t a bad idea unless you are printing something articulated.

Thanks so much for the tips!

Have a great weekend,

Troy
