Have you examined your K2's poop?

I know. If I talk poop much more I may turn into Laura Dern in Jurassic Park, but…

The stuff on the left is “fresh” poop - open and softly textured - on the right is the stuff that jammed up my entire printer yesterday. It’s hard and compacted. Does this tell us anything about why this keeps happening?

I’m just going to restart my printer after removing and refitting the bezel and blade wiper. I’ll let you know if it started working again.

Edit: it’s working. Straightening the bent arm on the bezel was what was required.

I’ve noticed harder denser poop when the extrusion is not smoothly exiting the nozzle and the extruded filament clumps up around the nozzle. My guess is this is because the temp and feed settings are not optimised or perhaps filament is not dry enough. Mostly this gets fixed by dehydrating the filament.
