Heatbed temp issue at startup

Hey people. I know were still working through issues with the belt tension and update. But im trying to keep printing as it was printing fine.

The last 2 attempts im having issue with the bed temp setting during print start. When the program requets the heat bed to go down to 50* it is taking forever!! I thought that the side fans come on and help cool the plate. So the test function wont advance until the temperature gets to 50. Maybe ot has something to do with me using fluidd to change the comand line #457 to stop the pre peont calibration issue? Im guessing the printer is carying on with background functions to support the bed leveling?? The one thing that doesnt make sense is that i have been initiating the print from the k2 screen. Not my pc. So my theory isnt necessarily a good one.

Any ideas?

Are you using Cp6 ? seemed to do that for me too I’ve since gone back a firmware and all is well but I’m using CP5…instead of the latest version

When I switch the printer on at start of day the first print always runs the auto level; thereafter no reoccurrence.

This new update is a massive frustration. It was perfectly fine before they touched it. Seems intentional.

I would not say,“intentional”, as in, “I think I will shoot myself in the foot”.

I would say,“It is very likely that Creality has a poorly run Software Development section”.

I had same issue but only once. Creality will bring FW update within days and updated already CP6.
The reason for the bad (wrong temperature) bed mash was missing mesh data on first print!
When you do a bed mesh on your first print or a manual mesh before your first print it will work.

I did not have this problem since then again.

Idk man. I feel like i tried everything… ill wait and see what the new update brings.
