Heatedbed deformation calibration

I have a question about print setting.

Not sure if it is due to the latest update or kids doing things.

Suddenly my prints takes a long time to start.

Do i need the heated bed deformation setting on?

What other print settings needs to be on?

Also my printer now sounds like R2D2 is there a way to switch it off?

Edit: sound from stepper motors when printing a big round object…

at least once, but I turn it off once the bed has been profiled. O.K., Sometimes I turn it on for a supercritical print with a lot of first layer exposure (like on one of those decorative print plates) They don’t change much over time.
To save more time I use the Flow rate calibration and Auto Pressure the first time I use a new type of filament. On the first pass, pull the numbers out of FLUIDD and put them in a print profile for that type of filament. then you dont’ need to do it anymore for that type of fillament.

Caveat, parts changes. I upgraded to a Phaetus DXC2 and had to update all my Flow and Pressure settings on all the filaments. Some changed a little, some changed allot.

My K2 Plus has always been a bit “musical” on round objects. I guess this firmware enabled weird noises for you… ‘bout time
