Got the not heating error, took the cover off and found one of the heater wites has come off the heater, the little pads don’t even look like they’re soldered on. And they are under the sock.
So the sock is hard to get off in general, how do you avoid breaking the seemingly very delicate wires during a nozzle change etc.?

That I think will require a new hotend. How do you stop breaking the wires? By redesigning the hotend, see how well it is supported on the Qidi design.
I always heat up the hotend before removing the sock, you do have to be carefull so you don’t burn fingers but it is easier. You will need a new hotend, when removing it be sure to loosen the screw in the side of the heatsink that holds the nozzle heatbreak in
