I bought a used Ender 3 Pro so I don’t know it’s full history. I’ve been printing PLA at 200C with no issues for months. Recently I’ve been using PETG and am getting more and more heating failed errors. This occurs during the initial heat up where the temperature will get within 5-7 degrees of set point and then start falling and then error out. It doesn’t matter what temp the setpoint is (above 200C). For example, if setpoint is 215 it stalls at ~210. If setpoint is 230, it stalls at ~223. If setpoint is 240 it stalls at ~234. If I manually set the nozzle temp without a print running it goes to any temp without fail. And here’s the kicker, if I start a print with a setpoint of say 230, and I manually change the nozzle temp to 240, once it’s around 231-232, I set it back to 230, it’s off and printing. If I don’t do the manual fiddling, it fails 3-4 times out of 5. Thoughts on what to try? I don’t think it’s hardware since it can achieve temp manually?
