Hey everyone! This is melmath315, coming to you from north-east USA. I’ve been 3D printing for around 8 years and currently own 2 3D printers (Prusa i3MK3S+ and an Ender 3).
I am also the manager of an additive manufacturing lab at a university, where I operate 20 currently in-use 3D printers (including two SLA printers). Of these printers, 6 are Creality S1 Pros, one is a CR10 Pro, one is an Ender 5, and I recently cycled 4 Ender 3/Ender 3 Pros out of service. New to the line-up last year was a Creality Hi Combo. There are also multiple non-Creality printers in my lineup. I also do design and engineering work for a manufacturing company, where I operate a K2 Plus Combo to make parts to be used in the facility.
I use a broad range of materials on these printers, including (but not limited to) PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PVA, PC, PA, PETG-CF, PC-CF and PA6-CF.
I’m on this forum to learn and help others learn. I have a broad knowledge base in 3D printer usage, troubleshooting, and repair, 2D and 3D design work, and material usage. I make many mechanical parts for personal and work-related projects, and I have a personal interest in making parts for automotive applications.
