A few weeks ago my wife and I got out first 3d printer, a K1. Yesterday we had our first jam while printing PLA. Following the tutorials I was able to remove the stepper motor and remove a piece of stuck filament. I then proceeded to remove the nozzle using wrenches from the Creality tool kit (not the cheap one that come with the printer). Even after heating the nozzle to 240C it did not turn as easily as it should, then the printer flashed an error message about the nozzle not heating correctly and started cooling down.
I eventually was able to completely unscrew the nozzle, but it will not pull out of the extruder head. It will spin freely and wiggle up and down, but it will not drop out and it will not thread back in. I tried heating the nozzle to 280C in case there was some filament holding it. I don’t know what else to do?
Did I break our new printer already?
