Looking for any information on to resolve this issue. My filament goes in just fine in the CFS but at the end of the print or when the filament is going to swap it attempts to retract and gets completely stuck that my filament roll jumps/pulled from its position. I attempted to cut the spring and swapped with another CFS and still the same issue. I’m using Creality PLA and PETG spools and it still causes issues. I’m about to order a new filament buffer and bottom bracket kit where the spring is to release but wanted to know if there’s something else, I should do or order. Any information would greatly be appreciated.
Having the same or similar issue with the CFS and the K2 Plus.
Did you solve your problem?
In my case, if I cycle the power, when it reboots, it retracts the filament like nothing happened.

Hi Daveyk,
I apologize for the late reply, But my solution was adding tension to the spring on the bottom bracket of the CFS, my first attempt was cutting the spring and that did not work. I ended up ordering a new bottom bracket, but saw a comment somewhere that adding tension instead of cutting helped them. So I added 2-3 washers and it helped. No more issues, as of yet. But I do have a brand new bottom bracket in box just in case it fails. Hope this helps.
