I bought the Creality Hi Combo printer about 25 days ago and have done very few prints, I believe no more than 7. Today, when I tried to print, it showed the error “Hi Combo motor unit error.” Has anyone here experienced this error before?
I don’t think so but @CREALITY may help. you also can contact support via mail cs@creality.com
Check if the stepper motor wiring is okay, if look okay, may need to replacement toolhead board or stepper motor.
We’re sorry to hear this. Have you contacted our after-sales service?
Yes, I opened a support ticket and I’m waiting for their response.
you always can call them directly
They sent me a new motherboard. After replacing it, it is now showing a Z-axis, error during the cutter check, when entering shaping mode, and during auto-leveling. It also shows the error “X-axis homing abnormality (CX2573)”, which did not occur before the printer stopped working.
I even came across some forum discussions about these errors, but I don’t believe that’s the issue they are referring to, since the printer has barely been used.
I am waiting for the next instructions from Creality on what I should do.
