Hotend stops for no reason

Hi, im new to 3d printing and i have slight problem, recently i bought 3d printer, and was working fine for 2 weeks, now randomly during printing hotend just stops, gets really loud “whirring” noise, and stops extruding, or just extrudes a blob, can anyone help me, and maybe tell me what might be a problem here ?

I’ve never experienced this but I suspect it’s your extruder and not the “hot end”. The hot end only heats the filamenet and the extruder, well, extrudes (pulls/feeds) into the hot end. If you’re hearing noises, take it apart and check everything is tight and within tolerances. Something might be stripped or just loose.

I did it already i opened up housing, everything seems okay, i re-tightened tenstion bolts on belts, and still happens, i will add that only on long prints, like 7h+, also when extruder stops, bed slides slowly all the way back, and tip just rips through whole print

Hi
The other possibility here is heat creep due to a failing hotend fan.
It appears the small fan is not the most reliable.

After 2 weeks of moderate use fan would fail, and if so how do i verify if thats the issue here?
