How is this a Tree Support?

CP version 7.0.1.4212

I enable Support, select Type = Tree(Auto), Style = Default, and get this:

Normal(Auto) looks a little more like the normal boxy style supports, but both Tree(Auto) looks like the above. It seems strange to me.

Style = Tree(Slim) looks better:

Style = Tree(Hybrid) looks very similar to Normal(Auto).

Is this a bug in CP?
