Is the Laptop on the wifi network? can you get to the internet through the laptop? If the answer is yes, then I think it is safe to assume the laptop, and router are set up correctly.

What do you see in the Network menu of the K2?

I still don’t understand. It is generally automatic by using the Slicer (CrealityPrint 6.3 or 7.0 beta)

Both are connected to the same wifi => The slicer finds it

Why use wifi.? I use cat 6 to 2,5G network

@Brian_Edwards sometimes running a hard wire is not practical. I don’t know shidues configuration, but in my case, the printer is in the garage, router is in the kitchen. Just no good way to get from point A to point B. Besides, it is not like the UI and gcode are a lot of network traffic. The slower speeds of Wifi are negligible.
