How to set the falcon2 laser head square

Hi and thanks for helping me.

I’ve had my Falcon2 40W for about 18months now and am very happy with it. The only thing that I had to endure in this time, was the fact the laser head is not square to the bed. This goes for front/back (Y-axis line) as well as side (X-axis) line. I first noticed it when setting the height. The one corner of the laser head (right side if you stand in front) always hits the spacer first and I can never slide the spacer sideways as it will always get stuck on the right corner.

I’ve read many posts about the adjust screw. “Just fix it with the adjustment screw“ but it nowhere states you to set the whole head perpendicular to the bed with regards to front/back and left/right side of the laser head.

I have an engineering square, and I have just checked it again. It is off a lot … to such an extent that I sometimes have to flip material to make the finger joints fit perfect. I have just manged to set the square perpendicular to the head with regards to the side of the laser head. But now it is not perfect with regards to back/front of the laser head. It seems that when I get the one right the other is out.

Can someone here please point me to a video or documentation that explains step-by-step how to set the laser head square to the bed left/right and back/front?

Apart from battling to set the head correctly, I am very happy with my laser.

Thanks.
