All the configuration files are sensitive to special characters, so it’s likely not the text, it’s how you are getting it to the machines configuration file.
I.e. if you copy paste via an editor that uses cf/new line characters (hidden usually unless displayed).
Make sure you just copy the block using the copy symbol top right that looks like this here..
I think this is terrific, love that the community is helping each other and I’m going to take a long look at this, but may I ask a question….
WHY?
Why are we having to write macros and do anything other than click “Calibrate” on an expensive Flagship printer (K2 Plus) that is supposed to auto-everything including setting the Z-Offset?
I’m having to adjust my Z-Offset to +.225mm and it still appears to be growing. I can see a small adjustment to eliminate some squish, but +.225mm?
BTW - Creality is telling me that a manual adjustment of +.225mm is normal.
I have NEVER had to adjust Z-offset on my Bambus. And I’m printing on a squeaky clean original plate, with a fresh nozzle and after full calibrations. Although I am using a kinda exotic filament. I think it’s called PLA.
