Is it possible to test laser module without controller with a direct source just to make sure the diodes are working
I had a cardboard flare up/fire and am not trying to find if the laser and diodes have been damaged so working from one point to see if i can trouble shoot and repair without having to replace
Theoretically the diodes could be driven with a current source, but without having the schematics I don’t want to give advice on how to try it, not that the module gets damaged.
Why don’t you put the original controller board on, it should be on top so probably not damaged as much?
hi all so the controller board on top is fried and it looks like i can get a spare so i am gonna have to save up and by a new module
