I am having an ongoing issue with my k1 max.
I have replaced the heat nozzle, added thermal paste, upgraded the extruder gears to metal, I can and do print regularly for hours without issue and then it happens again.
It will jam. Then I can pull the end out, extrude again without issue and then it will jame again.
Here are some pictures to show you what it looks like when I find it happening.
I don’t know what info you need in regards to the printer and I’ve never gone online to actually ask for help since I usually just find other peoples solutions and follow them.
Please let me know what info will help.
I’m using ender series creality pla
Are you using a transparent filament? One thing I found that works great for me, is using the Creality PLA filament. Stay away from the transparent filaments. Also, take apart the extruder to make sure there are no small filament pieces you may have missed

Hello @Mr_vanderwham
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
Just a basic step and you might have already done this but be sure to print with the top cover off so the chamber temp doesn’t get too hot and cause the filament to get soft which can cause the jamming problem you have. When the PLA gets too warm it would be like trying to push a rope.

I did not know this and was always printing with it on when I left the room and then left it off when I was watching it. If this is the issue it makes sense.
I’ll do a bunch of printing and see how it goes.
Retail, I’m using creality branded basic PLA
