I bought the flagship K1 MAX and its not working

Yesterday I got my new refurbished K1 Max (flagship) (bought from eBay: Creality refurbished).
I set it up and started printing. I tried the spool holder saved on the printer. First time it stopped after an hour, the second time it stopped after 1min and the third time I had to cancel the print after 2sec.
Suddenly there is no filament. What can I do now?

You may have a clogged nozzle and/or heatbreak.

The reason for a hotend clogging may be insuficient cooling (heatcreap in the heatbreak). Wrong temperatures for your filament. Other problems with the hotend thermistor and so on… Very cheap filament.

Also if someone used a very different plastic and did not get it all out before.

There are nozzle cleaning sets where you can try to stick a very small metall part in when the nozzle is heated up to remove the problem without disassemly.

Also you can try to replace the nozzle only.

And if that does not help you would have to dissassemble the hotend and remove the filament.

If it cloggs again, check for faults that can cause the heat not staying down at the bottom of your hotend.

How can this happen on a new printer (flagship)? Is this normal? I printed a project thats saved on the printer so I think all settings are correct there and I used the filament that came with the printer.

A clogged nozzle can happen. Years ago when hotends had much worse designs, it happend regularly. I have solved this at least a 100 times on older printers.

Maybe this helps you to solve the problem.

I’ve tried this already. Works for 20min of printing. Than it stops pushing new filament.

Check this:

There is a better explanation, why hotends get clogged than mine and what you can check to find the reason.

Hello @Getzukurz …!

Welcome to the Creality Forum…! Creality

Unfortunately there is no telling what the history of that machine is or what it’s been through. Although many Ebay stores claim “official” and “refurbished” most if not all are not.

Creality Refurbished on Ebay is not an official Creality store.

I would look at their return policy…
