I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Every time I change filament I backed the old and add the new filament. Problem is the tip is automatically clogged I guess. I have to replace the nozzle before I can proceed. I’m not quite sure why it keeps showing his clogged. I’m doing something wrong but I don’t know what.
I am using creality print six and only creality filament on a creality hi printeri. The filament is brand new.
I am assuming you are using the unload and load commands on the printer. If not you need to or you are breaking the filament inside the hot end rather than removing the filament,
Its good workflow to change nozzle if changing materials though, otherwise you need to purge new materials at previous or higher of those to nozzle to ensure everything is purge out.
Ok, you probably nailed the problem. I don’t know where to find the load and unload options. Are they on the creality HI or in reality print. I looked and didn’t see it although I’m not famous for my observation powers. Thanks for your response
I have a Ender 3 v3 and by default it is on my printer. I assume yours is the same even if a different Creality printer. My old printer was a base Ender 3 and had the same menu items, just different location. Sorry I am not near my printer right now, on vacation, but I can check back in about a week. Which printer do you have?
