Can I pause it, turn the printer off and resume tomorrow?
Or should I turn it off so it will think it was a power outage and automatically resume when I turn it on again?
Thanks!

I’m not sure how the Ender-3 V2 works when it’s paused but on our Ender-3 V3 during a pause the nozzle temp turns off but the bed stays on to hold the print, so the machine will still be using electricity to heat the bed if that’s a concern.
If you turn the machine off it should resume when it’s turned back on but in the meantime the bed will have cooled off and there’s a chance the print might move.
To add, I’m pretty sure it will not even continue the print if you turn it off. It holds the print for several seconds or minutes..Not hours ! ![]()
I know this is a fairly old thread but here are my experiances. I upgraded my y axis to linear bearing which was causing my bed to crash into the front when pausing a print. It would then resume at a different location as the stepper motor encoder counts would be knock out of calibration. I had to root my printer to limit this travel. That fixed my issue but now if I cancel the print the printer still thinks there is a printer job running and won’t let me start a new one. I’ve not figured that on out yet (not a big concern because I don’t cancel many prints). The only way to clear that print job is to turn off the printer for reboot. When the reboot is complete it asks if I want to resume the print job (the one that I canceled). Of course I say no.
You can test this. Start a short print then turn off the printer mid print and see what happens when you turn it back on.
