HI All
im genuinely at the end of my tether now with these updgrades.
bought a sonic pad second hand, turned out that because I have the C14 motherboard it wont work.
Got a nebula pad second hand, exact same issue.
watched some youtube vidoes where apparently they got it working ,and i downloaded the firmware files for it, still nothing wont work.
so im sitting here with over £100 worth of hardware, and i cant use any of it, and creality in my own opinion have missold their products and produced no fixes for it.
3 times ive ordered a C13 motherboard from Creality only to have to send it back because they keep sending the C14 motherboard.
Im not sure I trust the brand anymore and im at the stage where I may just sell it and get a bamboo.
Im open to suggestions here if anyone can help me with firmware to get this running!

get a bamboo and you will be more resent.
but you have a point Creality support service is a pain in the arse. and they even do not talk english so the language is a wall.
From my knowledge, the sonic pad and nebula pad are end of life (no longer in production) so don’t get surprised there is no supports for such an old thing
How did you contact the customer service ? Via mail ? Via Whatsapp ?
cs@creality.com ?
Yep, it is slow to get a nice result..Not going to lie about that
Have you tried Whatsapp ? They’re faster and I feel like their english is better
what is their whatsapp number?, the one I have seems do not work anymore.
In fairness, I think you may be trading one set of problems for another.
I own both a K2 Plus and a Bambu P1, and I do not think it is a fair comparison to contrast an Ender 3 with the Bambu ecosystem. The Ender 3 was still designed as a tinkerer’s machine, while Bambu’s products were built much more around ease of use and automation. A more appropriate comparison would be Bambu versus Creality’s K1 or K2 series.
That said, if your priority is a set-it-and-forget-it experience, Bambu does offer that. The tradeoff is less freedom in how you use the product. You mentioned three upgrades you made to your Ender. With Creality, you still generally have the right to make those kinds of choices. Bambu moved in the opposite direction with Bambu Connect in 01/25, and that raised legitimate concerns about how much control the company wants over its ecosystem.
Even SoftFever, the developers of Orca Slicer, decided not to sign Bambu’s developer agreement. That alone should tell people something. The backlash from the community was severe, but Bambu appears willing to accept that in exchange for tighter control.
Before buying in, I would strongly suggest spending time in Bambu’s forum, especially the feedback section, so you understand the complaints that come with that ecosystem.
For me, once Bambu started forcing its way on the community, that was enough. My next printer purchase was never going to be another Bambu.
