I was Ghosted when i needed help with my brand new Mage 8K

I purchased a Mage 8K back in October 2024 i have got 1 print out of it before it killed its self by leaking resin that seeped into the screen destring itself. let me start off by saying i own 2 ender 3 FDM printers and a Halot one resin printer as well all of which i have been happy with for many years. so i am not new to 3D printing but not an expert by all means. the mage 8 as i said came with a leaky vat annoying but whatever. when i contacted support i was asked for bunch of extra info that seemed excessive as i had the printer for only a few days. but it became clear fast they wanted me to replace the film at my own experience. so i did only for it to leak even worse, this time not only destroying the print screen but also gluing the LCD into the housing. the cause of the leaking i later figured out was caused by by the edge’s of the retaining ring on the vat being razor sharp. so a filed the edges down and replaced the film again. that said the printer was now not working. through all of this i reached out to Creality many time many time through both Email and the chat support on the web site every time leaving a message i never received a contact back nothing not a sniff of support i have no idea why i was ghosted. sadly i now have a $400 dollar paper wait. as the new screen i would need to buy to fix this still under a non existent warranty.
so i guess i have to find another brand to buy from. Sad really as i had a years long good relationship with creality.
