I’ve run into an issue with z-index offset. The problem is, when I do the Motion > Level Bed and Motion > Auto Home, the vertical gap between the bed and the nozzle remains much greater than when actual printing starts. After Level Bed / Auto Home has been finished normally, the z-axis shaft moves up about 7..10 mm and stays there until printing begins. This leads to inability to check and finetune z-offset with a sheet of paper. Also, any attempt to reset settings to factory defaults leads to “Err: too far!” message.
Would appreciate any clue as I am relatively new to 3D printing, thanks in advance.
