Infill seems to be fibrous. Is this an issue or expected

My models seem to have infill which looks to be stringy but I’m not sure if this is normal?

Infill settings are:
Sparse Infill density: 20%
Sparse Infill pattern: Cubic
Sparse infill anchor length: 400%
Maximum length of the infill anchor: 20
Internal solid infill pattern: Monotonic
Filter out tiny gaps: 0
Infill/wall overlap: 15%

How does the first layer look…?

If the Z offset is too high the rest of the layers will not look good…

All layers look really good. For example, I printed a model which had 100% infill as I needed it to be really strong- and all layers came out perfect. It seems that the above is only for Monotonic infill which is at a 45 degree angle for each layer.

The overall model which is shown above, came out really nice- I just wanted to verify the infill you see in the picture is supposed to look that way.
