IP acces

IP acces with alternative firmware?

There is a guide on github from a user called tombrider2006 which you can use if you are interested in rooting your firmware, but be careful, that might result in warranty loss.
If you are simply searching for the ip adress so you can see your printer in a browser, log into your router ( the same one that is the printer connected to ) and you will find ther your ip adress. Wort to mention there is not much information available when you connect via ip adress.

In the original firmware I can’t access the printer via IP address. Only via the application on the PC or via the Android application on the phone. I just wanted to look at the visualization of the bed comparison.
I enter the same IP address as the printer displays on the display and it is the same in the router. I tried setting it permanently in the router, but it didn’t help.

Creality - any update on this issue? Latest firmware seems to have broken the ability to view the Fluidd webui.

Don’t knock it. Been running that FW since it got released without issue. If in doubt, buy another Ender 5 max screen (where the FW lives) and give it a try. If you don’t like it, just go back to the original screen and back to broken stock.

There is no fluid in stock firmwares. Only in rooted, and you have to install fluid to rooted firmware.

I don’t understand why someone reported my answer as breaking the rules. I stated that I don’t want to install a dubious hack from someone from Russia into my new expensive printer. Is that wrong?
