Hi all,
Just wondering if it is safe to use some GooGone to clean the glass bed of my Ender-3 Max Neo? I’m currently just washing it with hot water, dish washer soap and a green scourer followed by a wipe-down with some IPA on a paper towel. What are your thoughts?

You should not have any real issues with using GooGone on the bed as long as its not damaging any coatings you may have on the glass, however, most people tend to use either dish soap or IPA. IPA tends to work best as it de-greases the area quickly and efficiently and 99% IPA tends to work the best. Anything less than 99% can sometimes leave smears on the bed.

Many thanks. I was just a little concerned about the coating the bed has (PEI, I think), and didn’t want to ruin it needlessly.

You’re welcome, as long as the GooGone is not attacking the coating on the glass you should be fine. I would highly recommend the IPA method as its the one I use and I have never needed glue or tapes for bed adhesion
